Tial BOV -vs- Synapse DV -vs- Cobb BPV ??

Hey!

So i am on the hunt for a good BOV/BPV/DV that would provide me the satisifaction the Stock DV has provided me.

Unfortnatley the stock DV will not cut it this summer . Please note, i do not want to crush mine either.

I have narrowed down my search to these THREE

> TIAL QR
> SYNAPSE DV
> COBB BPV

Obviously all 3 of the these will meet my need to hold boost. I wanna know which one will be better at holding partial throttle boost? Like doesnt do bucking and surging!!

I had the Synapse BOV and it was nasty for that, kept trying to tweak it and it kept doing it. I was fed up and got rid of it. I've been hearing that the new Synapse DV is alot better. The big issue I have with the Tial QR is i have my UICP's setup for stock bov. Dunno if its possible to use the QR on that setup, and im scared about choosing wrong springs! The Cobb BPV is still new, CBRD has a thread giving it rave reviews. Cobb usually has good product.

**SIGH** Hopefully this thread will help me PLUS other people.

- did it take a lot of "tweak" it to make it work or was it more plug and play
- do u get any partial throttle surge and bucking?

The Tial Q issue is easy, get the Tial to greddy adapter, then buy a greddy RS to Mitsubishi EVO adapter, piece of cake and it sits no higher than the Stock IX/X BOV

So I read this whole thread

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...results-4.html

This dv sounds like the bov. Exactly what I don't want!

Reading that thread discourages me from getting that DV.

Tial vs Cobb lol
