anyone have any problems with Dynoflash basic FLASH?

I am leaving my car all stock but would like it to run alittle better at higher RPM and I don't want a noisy exhaust.......

Anyone have any complaints about the $225-$250 basic Dynoflash for basically stock cars? I am just hoping to get 20-30hp out of it and have my car remain nice and quiet.

thanks -

Can't say enough GOOD things about the Flash by mail. I've been on the forum for a little while now and I haven't seen anyone (who has had it done) complain. Not only that, Al offers a 100% money-back guarantee. Do yourself a favor and don't wait.

How could you have possibly thought that a ECU flash would make the car louder? Exhaust noise and the ECU code really aren't related

BLKEVO8--Can you give more detail on that opinion? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.

A long shot - but it may be possible for the sound tone to increase slightly based upon the increased boost and power being made - especially at 6500 and above

I have not noticed more sound but I was not listening for it

Next time we tune a car - tommorrow I will stand outside the dyno shop and try to see how the flash effects the sound - if at all

I never said anything about the ECU flash making my car noisy.... I simply said I would rather spend the $225-$250 for the flash than to add a noisy exhaust to get similar benefits.....

Thank you guys all for your posts..... it sounds like a winner to me and my car (not being heavily modded, etc...).

My flash through the mail did not increase sound levels. Without changing the exhaust and or intake, there shouldn't be any difference to notice. I have no complaints about Al's flash and it runs smooth and holds boost. Way cheaper than WORKS for the same results.

I think scot is saying that he wants the flash done instead of adding an exhaust or anything that makes the car louder.

Please stay on topic. I believe he was asking about the Dynoflash. If you have no experience with the Dynoflash, please do not respond to this thread.

Did the Flash about two weeks ago. Definitely the best power gain for the money. It no longer studders in the cold weather, and my mpg have increased!

The Pocketlogger says my flash by mail with Al is near perfect--couldn't really get better even with a dyno.

thank you guys some more..... sounds like a no brainer..... I appreciate all the posts.

Now I have to figure out how to take out my ECU to send it to AL.

It is behind the glovebox somewhere..eh.?

It's right behind the glove box. Here's a how-to on that:
