Tanabe Touring Medallion, sticks out

I had this exhaust put on yesterday, and i have a JDM IX rear bumper and it stick s out quite a bit.

where would be the best to shorten the exhaust 2-3 inches? should i cut from the tip?

Tip make sure they rig weld it with steel line or else its gonna rust
