After reading all this im just curious as to what would happen if one of the large plenum intake manifolds would be used? I would assume that the power curve would be pushed to the right and that a lot of the low end punch would be lost and it would be more suitable on a car that is more set up for drag duties. At least thats what i gather from reading this..

hmmm. me thinks this sounds pretty good for my efr 8374 2.2L. im in the market because i just sold my large plenum di. i was afraid the plenum volume was going to be a bit much.

I have a built 2.4 Pt6262 and im also looking for the best Intake manifold which gives the best hp and not sacrificing too much, if any, torque and response. Afterall its first and foremost a street car. I am leaning towards the buschur ,DI or AMS. I like the idea of buschurs with the longer runners and maybe the smallest out of the big plenums which should give me the best of both worlds

When we did our intake testing/development, Tom contacted me from DI. Asked what we found, I told him about the plenum size issues. That same week he built the "small plenum" DI intake manifold to the plenum specs we discussed and found to work and shipped us one for testing.................thank you.

So is there any similarities between the DI manifold and BR manifold?

There are pictures of both on our site. This thread is about Magnus and AMS, I don't want to take it off topic. Start a new thread, send me a link or whatever, please.

So if the smaller plenum is better for smaller displacement engines, is it safe to say that a the displacement increases so should the plenum?

I think we need a intake manifold test 2.0. There have been so many revisions to all the intakes, so I think we she where they all stand.
