My 2.0L FPBlack 2011 Build thread
So I want to make this sort of a short thread because 1) I'll make a dyno thread soon and 2) I don't want it to drag out like Rockman's
Quick over view, well like most Evo owners I just did modding little by little and honestly I was ready to sell my car over winter break...I just got tired of all the problems that come with modding an Evo. I've always put off two things that I've always wanted. A built motor and JDM Rear bumper....well as of today my dreams came true
I think this is gonna make me fall in love with the car again
I set up a date to drop off my car for a motor build at Cwill's shop(26-28th) and today my bro/dad picked up a JDM Rear bumper at Most-Wanted's(Brian's) house...two hours away(Thanks to all of you)
I've been having headaches with the car lately, when I was ready to tune it the car was creeping to 33psi, I don't know why, it was either the hotside or the new 02 eliminator but I couldn't control boost at all. So I sent my whole set-up to Aaron@English Racing so the guys there could port EVERYTHING
Either way my car has been down for 3 weeks, so I've been riding my moped around campus
Well here are my latest mods, I spent my tax return wisely
We don't get tax returns in Venezuela cause no one likes to pay taxes

I have three things that I always want all my cars to have and that IMO all good dailys should have.
1)Car runs well....check(Speed Density)
2)Car makes power....check
3)Car looks good...super check (JDM REAR)

I kinda feel like this kid right now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFlcqWQVVuU

Congrats bro. Its been a long time coming. I'm sure you deserve for all the hard work you're putting in over there in gainesville! So how is JohnBradley gonna tune it? You flying him down here?
Nice! Gratz on falling in love again. I totally understand how sometimes things seem to pile up when it comes to modding a car. Glad you decided to keep her in the family. Look forward to seeing the build finish up.

Will, thanks these past two years I have been more focused on school than on the Evo but it's finally time. As far as the tune, not at all. Were just sending logs/maps back and forth. Honestly I don't think he really needs to step in the car. If I feel anything out of the ordinary I'll let him know but I can log everything anyways boost/AFR/etc
Localtoys - I'm always driving back and forth from Miami to Gainesville, I'll stop by one day for lunch and take you for a spin.
FastL - I'm actually really happy too and cant wait, I cant believe I was about to trade my baby for a Corvette.

OK. Is he going to tune on just pump or will it be on E85 as well. You will be sending logs back and forth on the dyno, or are you gonna street tune it? Sorry for asking so many questions. You can pm me if you want to give me the full details on it.

thanks mikey, good thing you helped me out the other day man....I think if the creep issue had not happened though, I wouldn't have planned the motor build.
