Installed JIC Exhaust Manifold

Just got them installed today and OMG...the car pulls like crazy right after 3rpm

I only drove it about 2 or 3 miles around the block and the headers turned from silver to gold right away. Either way...still looks good

Does anyone know if there are any heat shields I can get that would fit over this Manifold? I need to get one asap just incase.

That looks sharp.

Do you have any plans to put it on the dyno?

You know that pretty gold color will only last about 2 weeks, right? Then they will start to turn brown and ugly lookin'.

Even though the color may not be as bling-bling - get it coated.

http://www.jet-hot.com/ This company is who I deal with for high temp ceramic coating.. Plus their silver coating is nearly as shiny as the stainless.. I have their coating on my Hooker headers on my race car.

Yes and No.. They can crack under stress, but you need to purchase something that has heavy gauge material.. Don't buy the cheapest one out there and you should be ok.. I don't know of many people with long-term use of a stainless manifold on a Evo though.. Just a few high stress drag applications.. in their case it was 50/50 about issues..

So you spent 1500 bucks to make you get stuck with a stock turbo?
