I'm not sure. I only looked into the thread size on the oil housing b/c I was making a custom oil cooler kit and used a after market cooler. I would guess they are the same on the OEM.

check out pg. 12-6

For ref: Same part number same thread!

Bringing back from the Dead, so M18 for the oil filter housing side, evo8. That's not NPT is it? Just straight thread? Can someone confirm?

Im confused, because i bought the STM oil cooler kit with the hoses and fittings, and when i went to put the fitting into the oil filter housing, its to small by a size. The one i pulled out from my oil filter housing was bigger, and NPT, the one STM sends out is smaller and Straight thread. I'm confused.

Gonna go buy another at a local store, but not sure if i should get M18, straigh thread/ npt? im lost.

Thanks.

And i didnt pull out the wrong ones. I figured it out, and the previous owner of the car probably snapped a fitting in there, redrilled and tapped to 1/2" NPT. It's all figured out now. Thank you.
