65mm tb on stock manifold?

does it make any sense? cause any problems?

basically id much prefer to buy a tb and keep my stock one aside than try and trust myself replacing the tb seals on the factory one of my dd (im truly scared of messing with the tps lol)

in my mind i feel like it should pretty much just act like stock...

Honestly, I don't know what else you have done to the car, but to change the TB to add more power I feel is pointless. I would only change it the stock seals start leaking which they are known to do. And for your reference I have a Boomba 65mm TB on a Stock manifold and made awesome power. But like I said I have a FP black to compliment the needed airflow.

if you put a 65mm tb on the oem mani, you must enlarge the inlet opening of the int mani, otherwise you will only realize a response gain.

GL

please read what i wrote.

im not doing it for the performance. i was doing it more out of the fact that i almost dont trust myself to play with the tps to replace shaft seals, so i figured why not just get a mil.spec tb already done up.

i just want to make sure there will be no NEGATIVE effects. I am not worried about maximizing it at this point.

i can offer you a rebuilt unit that is built up in oem form if your interested, which will be cheaper than going the 65mm route
