Grimmspeed MBC
Just saw this today. Noticed that MAP had a groupbuy thread but no one seemed to notice it
Looks like a great new MBC. May have to get one for testing....

BTW guyz, are any of u decent DIYers?
I have a new product entering final stages of benchtesting (including pnuematic boost testing).
I am willing to consider sharing a few of the builds with forum members who would give decent, informed feedback. It will require u to purchase your EBC 3 way solenoid valve though.
eg.
http://www.amazon.com/3-Way-Body-Por...3914797&sr=8-9
The product does quite a few things.
It is an 80 mm diameter fully microprocessor based display gauge/controller designed to mount on a regular 52mm universal gauge cup.
feature set:
Both Analog sweep & 4 Digit display. Independent of each other. Backlit. Daylight visible.
Can display: vacuum to 4 bar boost, AFR (NB or WB), or RPM
Can Control: boost via closed loop (3maps) or open loop (3maps)
Includes: Voltmeter, Turbotimer, Boost spool dyno, Traction boost launch control
Peakboost/PeakRPM.
Two auxiliary drives,parametered as follows:
TPS, RPM, Boost, AFR - any combination.
Also includes, Blow off valve/CBV e-control with optional POP off upon overboost.
Optional continuous Barometric boost compensation for mountainous terrain.
Precision boost calibration - one touch operation - for precise control on location at operating temps.
Opening ceremony displaying current config...eg Display selected (PSI/BARS/RPM/AFR), Volts, Last Boost map, Firmware etc.

Until there is a definitive, unbiased comparative test done pitting all of the popular MBC's(Hallman, Forge, BR, Grimspeed, Dejon, etc., against each other on the same car, then I will continue to view this discussion as similar to the one that compares California orange juice to Florida orange juice. An MBC is an MBC.

Grimmspeed 3-port or GM 3-port is still the way to go IMO. nothing like being able to tune boost specifically to each gear.
Nice looking piece tho, they're quality is great-had tons on my Subaru

Look what came today!! The people at GS are great.
The MBC looks/feels quality. And the whole install kit you get is nice and complete. Ill have more info after I test it on my EVO next week, then a writing review will follow.

^personally I like the markings letting u know just how much more boost to run. Takes the guess work out of turning it blind and hoping lol. Is this a first? I've never seen a mbc with markings like that before? Looks like a great product
Eagerly awaiting your thoughts!!!Will
I would suggest testing the Perrin/Buschur MBC v.s. this one. I ran a Hallman for a long time, and just switched to the Perrin. Boost builds faster and held better up top with the Perrin.
Buschur also stated in a thread that he saw gains switching from a Hallman to his (Buschur MBC is a Perrin copy)
