FINALLY had time to play with it.
Pulling spark plugs 1 and 4 had no change on the car. I ended up putting everything back together and just unplugging the coilpack on the right (which is cyl 1 and 4) and it made no difference in how the car ran. I then plugged that coil back and unplugged the other coil and the car wouldn't even start....
My conclusion is a bad coil, but before I go spend the money anyone want to tell me i'm wrong? lol.

Just for the record it sounds quite a bit worse now than in the video. No idea why it got worse, but it won't hold idle for more than 15-20 seconds without dying if I don't give it gas.

it got worse because there is a build up of fuel in the cylinders on the plugs. If I was you I would pull the valve cover and inspect the rocker arms before you go out and buy a new set of coils! If im wrong then you are not out the $$$ but if I'm right then you will have saved the $$$ you'll be spending on the coils.

hm, and on a cold start it still sounds fine for a minute or so, then it drops atleast a cylinder. I need to find someone local with an evo and swap the coils. I'm pretty sure the cars running on 2 cylinders at this point.
To cold to pull the valve cover tonight, probably won't have time till the weekend.

well if your gonna spend the money and buy a new ignition coil, spend the money and either buy new wires and new coil boots with it, or if u plan to stay stock ecu go buy non cdi sparktech coil on plug, no problems on mine had it on over a year... 500 for an ignition that can spark as much as that 6262 can put out means no spark blow out, some ppl on here are givin good information, some just need to stfu....haha
