Did it blow up??

Cars been running great ever since my new ETS 6262 turbo kit has been installed (1K miles or so)

Today was nice so I took it out and did some pulls. Everything went perfect and I made me drive home nice and slow. As I was pulling into the neighborhood I noticed the car seemed to have no power and sounded terrible.....

What should I be looking for here??

I know the video sucks, but it's all i got.

And there was no unusual noises during the pulls and still ran good right after the pulls. Also no smoke.

I dont wanna scare you, but thats what my buddies 2g sounded like when his rod bearings were fried. It was a bit louder, but it had a distinct knocking with the rev. Your isnt as loud though.

Definately not an exhaust leak, It's very hard to describe, there's no audible knock. Pretty sure the slight knocking noise heard in the video is my quatermaster clutch. But if you rev it up, you can just tell somethings not right and the revs take forever to come up vs what it is normally. It just sounds more empty if that makes any sense.

But it doesn't sound like it's misfiring so i'm not sure.

I went back out and turned it on again and it sounded normal for the first 4-5 seconds then went back to what it is in the video. I guess, I just don't know what else to check.

I know this sounds crazy, but could it be a bad ground? If I just turn on the ignition the radio just keeps turning on and off and it was turning on and off when i was pulling into the neighborhood too.

if it was rod knock it would trigger the knock sensor just reving it in neutral to 36 counts.

is the car on speed density? either way check it for a big boost leak.

if the radios doing that then check the battery.. sounds like the batteries about to take a crap. things go nuts when the battery gives insufficient voltage to accessories in the car.

could be something ground out ya.. shorting out etc.. can you turn the high beams on and they are bright and everything else confirms the batteries taking a load?

Ya on speed density. I've had big leaks before and usually the car won't idle on it's own. Granted i've never had one since i've been on speed density though, don't know if that makes a difference.

Battery seems to be taking a load fine, it sat for about 2 weeks and still started right up this morning.

my guess would be a big boost leak, and if youre on speed density it wont show the full symptoms.. it would just feel like the car was N/A

I went out and started it on my way out and it was totally fine. I didn't risk driving it but I will tonight when I get home. I checked for obvious boost leaks and didn't spot any.

Ill update later. At this point I'm just confused. Glad its not blown up though!
