i want to upgrade my stock turbo to an fp red.
the only parts i have right now are

can i just slap on the new turbo and be good to go?

you need a fuel pump...if not a double pumper and bigger injectors...

For pump gas, you will need to upgrade the fuel pump to a WALBRO. You are going to need larger fuel injectors as well. In order for FP to honor the warranty on a new turbo, you have to run one of the motor oils which they recommend. You'll probably want to upgrade from the stock O2 housing to a better flowing unit, or else, an O2 dump. I would also think about upgrading to a more efficient intercooler. What intake do you plan on running? You'll want something better flowing than the stock setup.
