I'm installing a TBE, Intake, and Fuel Pump on my car without a tune yet. I want to also install Kelford 272 cams and a Gruppe-S 3 Port Solenoid. If I install these last two items (the cams and solenoid) will the car be safe to drive? I don't know what the solenoid is set at from Gruppe-S so I don't know how the car will react to it without a tune. Also, I heard the car will idle poorly after installing the cams without a tune and that's fine, I just need to know if it will be safe to drive the car to the tuner. Thanks!

 

youll be fine to drive to the tuner but no boost at all to be safe

 

Can you tell me what the 3 port will do without a tune? Does it do nothing until the car is tuned or does it change boost setting or anything like that?

 

youll overboost if you step on it needs to be tuned to control boost proper just keep an eye on your gauge to stay out of boost
