OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS THREAD!

I've been going to mechanic hell changing out the pump on my evo 6. Dropping the tank with the car on jack stands is not fun let me tell you..

Then.. with it all fitted up (except tailshaft and exhaust) i thought.. better test it! And it wouldn't start

Searched internet expecting to get no where.. found this thread after a while.. Read about priming the pump.. I though... maybe.. just maybe... BUT THIS FIXED MY ISSUES! THANKS DW FOR THE POST! You have saved this little aussie from evo mental meltdown
