NEW CEL Light again. Found out why

Found out that the oil was leaking very very minimal so the CEL goes on and off at times. Not a big problem and nothing warranty cannot fix. Should be a bad gasket. Gonna go to the dealers soon and find out. Either Bay Ridge or Manfredi. So everyone, check ur engine oil level if u have a CEL.

I have no clue. I'm letting my father borrow the car for a month while his trip to the US so I dunno where he got checked. He just gave me a brief summary. Will ask him tomorrow for more details.

get the exact code... i found that techs don't know jack... i had to buy my own obd2 reader just to know why i was throwing a cel... they told me oh its your intake, meanwhile it was a shot o2 sensor on the exhaust.

You shouldn't badmouth any techs. Maybe the tech that checked your car made a mistake. A code reader or scanner will only give youy a code. A code can be set because of many different possibilities. For example, a code for "lack of 02 switching" can be caused by 1-lean problem (intake, MAF, intake leak, IAT,etc..), 2- bad 02 sensor (could be wiring concerns before the 02 sensor), and so on. It happens to the best of us.

no problem guy . Im actually not a Mitsu tech either. I work in a Ford dealership but used to work in a speedshop. All OBDII concerns are dealt with in the same manner so all brands share similar procceses for diagnosis.
