FP Black on stock block owners, please chime in!

Hello,

I would like to know how many here are using a FP Black turbo on the stock block? If so, how many miles on it? At what PSI? And how much WHP/WTQ you guys are making? I've heard a lot of people say that this turbo is not safe for the stock block, but I would think otherwise since it makes less torque down low... I'm planning on doing a built block, and if I'm rebuilding my blown FP Red I will probably just convert to black so I can get the extra power with the built block, but in the meantime I would be using it on a stock block and I would like to know if it would be safe to do so.

I am currently running FP black on my Evo IX MR. Swapping the tranny to 5speed this month. Probably has less than 1k on it. I am running it with toxicfab exhaust manifold and 02 dump. So far so good and i love it everytime i drive my car. Sounds sick with my set up. I am making 436hp 361tq 27psi on pump gas but i lower down the boost to 23ish maybe 24psi. I know that 400 or less torque is good for you stock block. Your tuner should tune your car on the safe side. Look at my signature and that's all parts i have. here's the picture of my set up:

I have the FP Black, and I am on the stock bottom end too. It is spiking around 28psi and holding 27. My Black probably has about 4k miles on it. The last good log I took, VDR said I was making around 500hp/380tq.

Lovin' the turbo here. 30+ psi on E98 for me. On pump gas, stock 2.0, it's kind of a waste. Give it good fuel and real boost and it will shine. Most try and keep torque/cylinder pressure around or below 400ft/lbs

yeah! the people here with Black, stock block and some bolt on put 500 whp...

I will buy a FP Black next month, I have rods and pistons forged. The gas here in my country sucks!!! (maybe 90 oct or 89 oct). I have meth 50/50. How much boost can put with the black with that gas with meth???
