I've had a few different bov on my ride. Hks both vta and recuirculated (sp?) A blitz with both the soft and hard spring and now a forge dv. The forge is by far the best one. Car runs a lot better not being vta even though I didn't have any problems doing so. Just idles smoother and is smoother when shifting. If you are on speed density then id say tial

my forge has been amazing... but i'm about to upgrade in a few more weeks when i change to the fp black and 2.3l
sounds like you just got a bad one. I've never had leaking from mine.

OP just pick up a stock metal IX bov...
That's why I got the one I did. It holds more then the 9.

Everything flutters in comparison to the Synapse. I have literally had almost every valve on my car except the new Cobb valve and they all blew(no pun intended) compared to the Synapse. The Tial Q was great but flutters on stock turbo on the highway during partial throttle. Forge is absolutely garbage on our cars and any JDM valve is now prehistoric technology. The stock IX valve came in close second.

I'm kinda curious about this too...im starting to build my evo and i already have a Synapse but its welded to my IC pipe, and im getting new pipes so i need a new BOV and im wondering if i should stick with the Synapse (sounds better than the HKS IMO) or the TiAL QR...it kinda caught my attention...

I have an APS twin vent BOV that i bought my car with. I like it so far no reall issues minus not hearing anything now that I moved to montana. Any suggestions to whether i should just sell and go back to the IX MR stocker or keep it?

I suggest keeping the APS twin vent. Arguably one of the best BOV in the market...well, used to be in the market. They since have stopped importing the APS, and can fetch a pretty penny if you try to sell it.

For you, it might be a downgrade going back to the IX BOV.

I get a little bit of p/t flutter in fifth with my evo IX bov however I dont have any leaking or problems with it. I like the fact that the Demon has different springs however I havent heard enough about it to give a positive or negative recommendation. I'd say try it out and let us know! =D
