Hey guys. Im about 350whp on my stock turbo, I have 272s hks, high flow cat, helix 3 inch downpipe, hks carbon fiber exhaust, buschur 4.5 fmic, upper and lower intercooler pipes, hks suction intake, perrin catch can, stock injectors, stock turbo manifold, 300 dwk fuel pump. I want to build in the future but I do not have that much money right now because of school. I do have money for an intake manifold, test pipe, injectors, and new exhaust manifold. I was wondering if I got these parts and another tune, do you think 400whp and over is possible? I made 385 by mistake because the acutator was set wrong (; but it was fixed. I would like to see over 400.
not to burst your bubble man, but unless your on e85, highly unlikely youll break 400 hp, and depends on what dyno you go on to? if you go on a dynojet and you have 93 octane, and ambient temps are cool, id say maybe 370-390 hp .....on 91 octane and hot ambient temps with my mods and a 64mm fp red, i made 385 hp on a dynojet

Get ride of the cat and put in a test pipe. Other then that your pretty much at the max for your setup on 93. You would need to get a evo 9 turbo and a set of larger injectors and you can see about 420
Get a test pipe and evo 9 turbo. Also get an aftermarket O2 housing or even an O2 dump.
Unless you go larger than stock turbo you won't need injectors. However, if you switch to e-85 you will need larger injectors.
You could also change your cams. The HKS 272s are somewhat dated and Kelford 272s or GSC S2s provide sufficiently more power even over the HKS cams.
You could also port your stock intake manifold and also port and coat your exhaust manifold and find a few extra horses that way.
However, all these little things add up to be expensive and I would suggest just saving your money for down the road.

If you are looking for bang for the buck, E85 and/or larger turbo like the Red/Black.Mikey

i have an o2 dump too, i made 385 on a dynojet with boost set a little too high. My tuner said I just need some injectors and I can run 380,390. I wanna do the test pipe and maybe a new turbo manifold.

Turbo Manifold isn't going to do much unless it's a ported stoker. Even though the 05 turbo your pretty much going to run out of steam on it assuming your at 20-27psi already. Injectors you might be able to squeeze more out of the car but your going to kill the turbo. Your better off buying a Evo9 turbo and getting it ported or a FP Green. With those 2 turbos you can hit your 400+ goal and not worry about burning out the turbo
I have the same exact mods u do, but I have a fp green, 1000cc inj, And a test pipe... I made 385. It was also 97* out on a hot aug. Jersey day and on a stock clutch... I do think the 272 hks are holding us back plan on selling them and getting kelfords (new clutch and rebuilt trans have been installed since then, so +400 should be in the mix)
Oh and we don't have e85 Here in nj.
