Fastest spooling Turbo on a 2.0

What is the Fastest spooling Turbo on a 2.0 Engine ?

Is there a faster one than the FP white ?

Horsepower goal should be 350HP at the Flywheel or more .

I need good useable power up from 2k rpm.

What is about BBK-Lite ?
HKS GT2 ?

Thanks for your help !

The old style FP White Rabbit was a very fast spooling turbo with decent top end. I don't think they make it anymore though. You might be able to find one on the forums used.

You're not gonna make usable power at 2k no matter what. The 4g63 just isnt a low RPM motor unless you switch to a stroker.

the Turbo would be for a Outlander Turbo which has now a td04 Turbo in it but i would like to get more than 300HP out of it with really fast spool.

to come back to the FP White what is the difference between the old style and new ones if there are any differences ?

I'm just curious, why won't the stock turbo get the job done? You're not going to find too much that is going out spool the stock turbo. At 350 flywheel hp, the stock turbo is just starting to flex its muscles. I mean if you were looking for 400hp+ I could understand an upgraded turbo, but you goals seems easily achievable on a stock turbo car.

Well didn't completely read your last post and thought you were referring to the evo. My bad. In that case, the hks turbo mentioned looks to be the most promising and looks like it hits like a freight train down low.

not faster then a big 16g.. which is what the stock evo 8 turbo is. stock 9 turbo is more of a 20g which is a bit laggier, which is what the HKS turbo is based off of.

evo 8 and 9 compressor and exhaust wheels are the same, just the compressor housing is different?

If you want faster than those, get a Ti turbo off a Evo 6 or 7, super fast spooling.
And then put a 9.0cm housing from an evo4 onto it.

I'm biased, but GTII.... if you are on a budget a used FP White Rabbit would be good or stick with the stock IX turbo and do a stroker.

Stock IX turbo and increase the engine size is the only way to get more down low. Add MIVEC with smaller cams (but larger than stock) and let it eat. Its amazing what can happen if you focus on specific power goals but all gains down low mean you trade up top somewhere.

S1, MIVEC, 2.4. It will get you closer to you what you want. Realistically the MIVEC would be overkill as I have seen our shop 2.4 rally project make 10psi at 1900.

why bother switchin out the turbo with that power goal? Just focus on opening up your intake and exhaust tract to get that turbo breathing well... maybe port the exhaust mani/hotside/02 housing and then go e85. That'll give you what your looking for and the boost response will be tough to beat.
