Battery Wire Color Question

Just recently purchased an 03 Evo 8 for my son and it had the small battery kit in it, and a couple of the wires going to the positive were extended. My question is can someone tell me what they are for and where they go? The 1st wire (about 6 gauge) is a white wire with pink strip, the 2nd wire (4 gauge) is a little larger and is black with blue stripe. I can see there are also a couple of wires going to the fuse panel/relay on the drivers side fender. Also was wondering why they added an inline fuse to the white/pink line wire. Thanks again for all the help this forum has given us.

I called a Mitsubishi Dealership and talked to a tech so if anyone else needs to know, the white/pink stripe goes to the alternater and has a 100 amp inline fuse in it. The black/blue stripe goes to the starter. This is only if someone else needs to know for future reference.
