Yeah. Stock is 19ish.

Check for leaks or if you installed a boost control, may have to do some adjusting

Yeah a stock evo should be at about 16 psi. And you can run a little more than that safley.

if its staying at a steady 10 psi it doesnt sound like a leak. probably just need to turn the boost up

if everyone else is saying that he should be boosting 16-19psi on a stock car and hes only boosting 10psi...where do you get he needs to turn it up? hes loosing 6-9psi somewhere. it has nothing to do with a mbc

Well I looked under the hood for a mbc I cannot find one but I do see a Y vacuum coming off of the wastegate but I have to pull off the airbox to find out where it leads to but it seems that it goes to the intake tube it looks like there used to be on and now it is not here

Those vacuum tubes goes to a boost solenoid. I had this problem where I bought a brand new solenoid and hooked it up. My boost was also limited to 12psi when it was hooked up to the solenoid. I don't know if it has anything to do with an SES light but mine was on. Fixed it by buying an MBC and doing all the tubing myself. Tune the MBC to 20 and you should be good.

I am going to attempt a boost leak test, is there a proper way to do this, or an easy way?

It seems that it is my stock boost solenoid, I don't think it has the pills in place it looks as if someone added a mbc the removed it before selling the car now it only has 11 psi

You could remove the existing boost/vacuum hose assembly which may have the restrictor orifices(pills) removed and in its place install a new factory hose assembly(P/N MN 143555). This would be one option. There are a couple of other options as well.

Ok so I capped nessary vacuum ports and used my AMS boost controller from my GSX now I started w it all the out and gradually turned it in. I was able to spike at about 16. When I get to about 14 it starts acting eratic the motor ... Stutters and the boost goes Dow to 11 and stays solid. Now it seems I do have a boost leak
