What's up guys?? I need an M11 x 1.25 Thread Chaser/Tap ASAP! Yes, this is for the head stud holes in the block. I need to run a chaser through one before putting the stud in. I tried a couple local places an no luck so far, Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, Advance, Autozone. I could probably call ARP and get one but they are in Cali & I'm in NJ. I think Summit or Jegs may have had them on their site too. Anyone have any suggestions on where I could get one quick without having to pay some ridiculous overnight shipping?? I want to try and get this by Wednesday at the latest...Thanks for your help!!
I would say try a local machine shop is your best bet. If you were a little closer to me I could help you out as I have a friend who does all my work for me. Good luck man hope u find it

Don't call me ghetto by any means but when I rebuilt my friends LS1 motor in his vette I had to clean the head bolt threads and they are at the BOTTOM of the block, not the top like most. I could not even locate an extended tap, common thing to do on the vette forum is take one of the old head bolts (stretch bolts, supposed to replace em so got plenty) and cut flutes in the threads like a tap, I did a couple for practice and after a couple I got good and looked legit surprisingly. Worked awesome in a pinch to clean out dirt/silicone/etc. I put in 4 flutes, maybe 5, since I used a cutting disc and they were thin and the more fluting area the better it worked. Helps if you have access to a cutting tool anyway. But obviously if you have time to go out and get the proper tool then do it but if your car is a daily like me and need to get it going that day then that works good and costs nothing
