I'd have to say stock cams with stock turbo. Your money is better spent elsewhere until upgrading the snail.

what else is left for me to do other than fmic and injectors? feeling the power itch, and i thought bigger cams would net me the most gains, and will be doing my 60k maintenance so I was thinking that i might as well do bigger cams, but idk...

hks 272/272
arp headstuds
muse licp
full 3 inch exhaust with tp and o2 housing
buscher intake filter on stock pipe
walbro 255

tuned on 3 port @ 24 psi on 91

whats next?

I'm itching to get my GS S2's in my car. I ordered them along with supertech valve springs and titanium retainers. Should be here any day.
I'm also running the stock IX turbo but plan on either building the motor or going larger turbo next year. I just wanted a full bolt on IX with stock turbo because I LOVE how responsive the stock turbo is! And you can make good power with it too.
I'll be posting dyno results after everything is installed. My current setup is SBR cone filter, MBC, and TBE.
With no tune my best time is 12.8 with a 1.9 60ft. Tires I have now are super sticky and don't allow any spin at the track. I'm running a Shep tranny with evo 8 3rd and 4th gear setup along with a Competition twin.
Cant wait to see how she does with all the new stuff! Cams, springs, retainers, front mount, injectors, pump and tune!

I am pretty much planning to do the same thing when I get my 60k service done. FMIC (still can't decide which one with so many quality options available), injectors, S2s, springs and a fresh dyno tune. I currently have a LICP, TBE, intake and MBC. I'm sure my stock clutch will be hating life afterwards though.

Just 1500 miles to go...

If I were you I would definitely upgrade your clutch next. And as far as front mounts I prefer the Buschur.

My buddy has a set of S1s and made 366whp and 338wtq Dyno jet on pump stock turbo, basic bolt ons FMIC, LICP, warbro 255, TBE. He now has a 50trim and E85 and makes 435whp and 398tq Mustang on a very safe road course tune. I am also going to be running S1's and 35r on a DD love the power curve and good idle.

On a IX and he was out of turbo on E85 they would turn the boost up and the tq or hp cant remember what would start to fall. He likes the faster than stock turbo spool of the 50 trim.
