Can i use any other ATF besides ATF SP 3??

 

i wouldnt. get the right stuff for the dealer

 

i certainly would not use anything except for what is recommended in the manual or by the dealership

 

It's just a pita to hit up the local dealer.

 

Mobile 1 synthetic ATF multi-vehicle formula meets SP III spec.

 

So does Eneos sp3 trans fluid.

 

My friend has used just plain old ATF in his but I went to the dealer and got 2 qts for mine, dealer said it's just atf fluid for their new cars basically but when dealing with expensive stuff like this I'll drive the hour each way to my dealer to get it (altho its 15 mins from my work) or you could order it from Russ at mitsuparts.net or whatever his site is....if you got the time to wait for shipping
