R&R trans/clutch on a 4 post lift? (drive on type)

Picked up a "mid lift" 8000 lb 4 post as it was the only thing that would fit in my garage (posts are 6'11") and it does not need to be bolted to floor. Is it possible to remove the trans with the ramps underneath?

I do plan on getting the center scissor jack setup (it was out of stock), that supposedly can lift the frame about 17". I figure if I lift the front frame behind the engine about 17", that should get the engine trans even higher. Open area between ramps is 32" and I'd guess I could put the car all the way towards pass side to make the opening more towards the trans side.
