Question Installing Motor/Tranny question.

So we removed the motor with transmission and transfercase all attached from the top. I know.
It was a pain in the rear, but we got it out. My quetion is, can we slide the transfer case and transmission in place without removing the cross member?

I'm confused what you mean, dont put the motor back but the trans and tc? in and from the top or bottom?

Either way the crossmember is held in by 3 bolts, take em out it takes 20 seconds and itll drop right down, might have to take off the plastic shield first but not sure since mine never had one.

id remove it for ease of installation. you dont want to bang up anything on install especially working with that weight.

Last question. The car is in storage so I can't really get a look till next week, but the strut tower will have to come down too?
I feel like this is a dumb question.

the way i do it is leave the t-case on the car, that way you dont have to remove the crossmember.
