Car was having idling problems, and I thought it was the iac. I changed the part out with one that I received but after that piece would not idle I took out the replacement to find out that someone sold me a piece that was broken.

I took the piece out, put my original piece in, and the car will not start. I have looked over everything including the fuel lines underneath the back seat and the fuel lines under the hood. Does the IAC control the car starting, and why will this car not start?
