498whp ( FP red & Meth )

Over this winter, I decided to rebuild my 2.0L to a Stroker. I like the results however I'm getting the sort of ( Swiftp swiftp swiftp ) sound during spool. Some are saying because the air is to dense making the Wastegate whole to small..

Does this make sense to any of you ?

498 whp at 28-30psi. ( about 40 degrees )

I'm located up north close to New York state ( 1 hour from Saracuse )

Mod list

Wiesco piston ( Coated ) 9:0:1
Manley H-Rods
Acl bearings
Stock crank
STM 3inch intake ( speed density )
Gsc s2
BC Valves & springs
Ported Stock exhaust Manifold
FP Rd 84mm ( ported & coated) ( 18psi wastegate )
MAP O2 open dump.
Aquamist HFS-5
Grimspeed EBC
3 Bar map sensor
Vi-Pec Standalone
Stock Intake MAnifold & trottle body
tial BOV.

Thanks in advance
Gary.

I'm confused, You said you moved to a stroker, but you have a stock crank?

Yes, it was still fine, they machined it to spec.

Would I be better off with a 25psi Wastegate actuator or loosen up the 18psi that I have ?

His point is, you can not have a stroker with a stock 88mm crank.

Definitely sounds like compressor surge which is always a possibility with these big stock frame turbos. BTW, I think he meant a stock 4g64 crank.
