I put my engine/trans/tc back in and has amsoil throughout now....When I rev the car in neutral (so rules out the tc) I can hear the sound of a bunch of gears turning which I never heard before till I put it back together, and there is oil pissing out of the rear tc seal. Could this be related? Why is it making this noise now? I've driven around the block a few times so the trans oil should be in all the bearings and whatnot inside the trans.Has 6k on Bushwacker trans rebuild. What would cause this noise?

You got nothing else better to do than say that? They are both different topics, sure they both have the same issues listed but if theyre not related to each other (one is trans whine, other is tc leak) it would be the same as posting 2 different threads for 2 different issues like everyone does...which is what I did but I mixed the 2 questions together IN CASE the problem is related to one another since it helps diagnose the problem.

 

Does it do it with the clutch pedal down?

I put in a new triple and had a triple before and it didn't make the noise....I can't hear if it's making the noise since the triple is so damn loud, but I would say no since the clutch disengages the engine from spinning the input shaft and thus making the noise but not totally sure if it IS coming from the trans or not, I need to have someone rev it while I listen inside the trans

 

No need to get your panties in a wad, I was just letting any readers that COULD offer help know so in case they had advice, they could post it in both places. They are the same thread, just one is phrased like:
