Attn Hks Filter Users!

I have an HKS Racing Suction Intake. The foam filter element always concerned me; I wasn't sure if it filtered the air effecticvely. (I live in a dusty, dersert climate. But it will improve other areas.)
I have been working with Outerwearsracing.com to develop a pre-filter for the HKS style filter. This one is for the shorter style. If you want the taller style, they can make it. I also got the water resistant material.
It's a great fit. It filters debris .005 or larger.
Dyno & flow bench testing show no significant loss of hoursepower or flow.
I paid $17.74 shipped, but I was the 1st and worked with the builder. They also offer non-water ressitant, and many colors.
Call RoseMarie at 1-800-967-3450 or email thru the web site.
The part # for the short HKS is 100-1292. Tell RoseMarie you want the same one developed for Rodney Hull.
You cut your own small hole for the bolt. (Easy)

Looks like a service industry hair net.

You sure they didn't just dye those white hair nets red and silkscreen their logo on it?

I had one on my ATV's K&N air filter and it works great. You wont believe all the crap that it filters out of the air! Its easy to clean too, all you do is rinse it out w/ soap and water. If i get an hks suction filter, which i probably will, im def going to buy an outwear for it.

That dirt get's passed the POS foam thing that HKS has, I used to have one on a TT-rx-7 and was cleaning it and looked down the intake pipe and there was dirt and dust all over it. You get more power because it does not block anything, hell put up a light to it you can see right through it. It's like the ****ty blue AC filters they sell, only stop BIG rocks and stuff

So you are saying the same thing I am. The HKS foam element isn't up to par. This Pre-filter should help alot.
I'm very happy with the Suction kit. I just didn't like the filter.
Now it all good.
