Synapse on an Evo IV?

After a couple days of searching throughout the web and these forums I've decided to go with synapse for my bov. Now my question is which would i be better off with; the DV or the Re-circulated BOV? My car is stock save an hks intake and MBC (when it gets here) I currently have no plans of any further upgrades. Opinions?

also, if you could recommend the best place to buy them online that would be very helpful as well. Thanks again!

you not gonna get any good answers when it comes to blow off valves. there are about 50 different valves that will work on an evo. no one has done a very good test of even 10 different valves. most people who do test a bunch stop when they find one that works for them. for me it was greddy valves. the type S and type R valves just work perfectly for me. I have tested them for leaks on the dyno. tested the S at 30 psi and the R with street spring to 37psi with no leaks. used a ballon on the outlet during dyno pull. these two valves do not have drivabilty issues like so many others I have tried. they have preload adjustment that allows them to be adjusted to the setup. I have not used the synapse valve long after I was happy with greddy valves.. I have used about 20 others though.

for you I would recirculate. otherwise you are likely to experience stalling problems.

definitely recirc, the car will have better response, and the maf will be happier as well which will make the car run better. You will still be able to hear the bov well with an open element filter. Synapse is a great if not the best choice.

the plan is to recirculate either way... It was as open ended as i think you took it. I know i'm going with synapse, just not sure if i should use their BOV or their DV? Both are recirc or have a recirc kit available.

lmao... why do people keep telling me that? I said in the initial post that it's going to be recirculated either way.
