A friend of mine was at the track and said he was down shifting from 4th to 3rd and it ground pretty bad, he said coming out of the corner he shifted up to 4th and their was nothing no gear at all. On his way home he said that the car would lock in 3rd, if he kept moving the shifter around it would release and he would be able to use 1st and 2nd, but no 4th and it wont go to 5th. I think it broke a shift fork but would like some other opions. Thanks

 

Shift fork or rail, either way trans has to come apart.
