What could I do for 10,000?

I am looking at getting an Evo 8. Not counting the car, what could I do performance only with $10,000?

I currently have a 2001 Audi A4 that right now I am planning to do a EFR 7670 build on,

I am trying to weight all my options before i dive in and start buying all the parts.

So say I have a bone stock Evo 8, and a brand new EFR 7670 .92 a/r IWG

(I am not worried about air condition)

Thanks

everyone here is gonna ask what your plans are.

figure 2000 for an ecu and a tune. (don't do any of that stock ecu crap)

4000 for a turbo kit(not considering your EFR)

and a built motor for another 4000.

even with all that you'll be leaving quite a bit out.

I beg your pardon? Do you know what the most popular tuning platform is on this forum, for professional and newbies alike?

i swear by motec M800. stock ecu is just a clutch.

Depending on how much of a budget you're on, i don't know if 550 on pump is REALISTICALLY obtainable on pump. I mean it can be done but reliability down the road who knows? im not much of a stock frame turbo person but I THINK the FPBlack can do 550 on pump.

You should be able to piece together an ETS kit using that EFR for less than 2k then. call up MAPerformance and tell them you want a 2.4l. and pick up a Haltech or AEM EMS S2
