I have this weird noise that only happens for about two seconds during/after starting the car when warm/hot. When I start the car cold, nothing. Since it happens for such a short period of time, it seems like it must be something related to the starter. It sounds like it is coming from the driver's side, but I haven't had someone else start the car with the hood up so I can try and pinpoint it better. The sound is tough to describe, but it's fairly deep, not like a lifter tick or an exhaust leak. It starts with the "knocks" at about 10/sec and then they slow down and are gone, all in about two seconds. I'll try and get a video up soon, but I was just curious if this was a common thing people could identify immediately. I'm not real worried since it seems to be starter-related, so I don't think its my engine on it's way out.
