Get a tubular 02 housing. Megan, or a dump of some sort. It'll make a difference.

If there is a lip on any of the transitions from section-to-section, or anything that will disrupt the airflow at all, I would say yes, port it. If everything looks nice and smooth on the inside, you should be fine.

Invidia is good but you have to extended the o2 wires or adjust the placement of the bung.

TiTek, Invidia, Works, Toxic Fab, those are all good choices. The Megan is absolute garbage from a quality standpoint. I've had a bunch of friends take them off their cars and find tiny pinholes in the welds. Shine some light through it and you see them clear as day. Garbage!

Tubular. Invidia is the same as Megan o2 housing except much better quality. Megan's are very prone to cracking. That's y I got invidia

I also drive my car 75 miles a day so a dump isn't practical as far as droning and annoying.

If Chad thinks it should be ported, let Chad port it

It only opens up at WOT. I loved my dump.

Chad recommended the invidia but didn't say anything about porting but I didn't ask him. Just trying to see what the general evo populous thinks.

As long as the interior is smooth without any jagged lips or edges it will be fine.

Figured I'd chime in hear quick, the invidia o2 housing is imo the best o2 dump for a Recirculated set up. HOWEVER installing it, and taking it off is near impossible. Biggest head ach I've ever had to deal with. The bolt holes are so close to the casting of the pipe you cant even put a wrench on it. Absolutely a horrible design in my opinion.

If you install it while the turbo is out of the car, its not the worst. Once you get it on, don't ever plan on pulling it off

I watched Mark install an Invidia O2 on a BBK Full the last time I was at CBRD and he also reciprocated Collin's remarks above. He though the Invidia and the TiTek were the best recirculating O2 housings on the market. He was installing everything with the turbo off the car on the bench so it was obviously much much easier.

Just ask Chad to clean any rough edges and you'll be ok.

Toxicfab 02 dump ftw!! Like already stated above, unless your wot everywhere you won't hear the dump at all during daily driving...Since CBRD is doing the install go with what they recommend and post your final results once everything is together!!
