This is a last ditch effort before I sell my car.

I'm using a new throttle cable, full blown 70mm tb, and ams f1i intake manifold. All set up on AEM ems S1 with NO IAC motor. The only air passing into the car is through my throttle plate.

The car will idle just fine all day but when I take it around the block above 2-3k rpms it will hang there and only come down with engine breaking. My tps sensor says 0% so the plate isn't sticking. I'm real close to swapping the throttle and iac motor with a new one. I've removed my idle motor just because it broke last year so I just set it all the way closed and unplugged it and used the idle screw on the throttle.

Anyone have any ideas what I should do? Any ideas what to try to replace first? I'm really not liking this full blown throttle body, nothing but problems over the 900hp mark. I've done pressure tests and it will hold pressure up to 50 psi to problem.

 

why does your tps read zero? it should around 12-14% in idle. zero would make the car die. unless the EMS is different. it could be the IAC it might still need it's input

 

By zero I mean I it doesn't show the butterfly being stuck open.
