Can we remove the Engine Oil Thermostat?
Hi,
im helping a friend to find out as he plan to remove his stock engine oil thermostat in hoping for a better oil temperature reduction?

The reason to remove it is to let the engine oil full time bypassing the oil cooler...If im not wrong...

Cold oil doesnt lubricate as good fyi.

You can replace it with the Tomei or HKS oil thermo killer.
