Any suggestions on an intake air filter replacement for an Injen intake 4.5 in. The Injen one rubs on the under side of the hood. Any suggestions on a good quality one that won't rub? I've found several on line from $6 to $130 just looking to narrow the options. I prefer one that does not require oiling.

 

The problem with the injen air filter is that it is just a hair bigger than 4.5 inches. When I bought my car, the filter was extremely dirty.(came with the injen kit already on) I had a generic 4.5 air filter laying around and I really had to shoe-horn it on there. I then bought an actual Injen air filter with a 4.5in inlet from a local speed shop thinking it would fit, but no, still had to shoe horn it on there.

 

can you purchase directly from injen?

 

I can get a filter the problem is the widest part rubs against the hoodand makes a hole in the filter.
