Air Filter Replace Question

My Injen air filter is ready to be replaced. Should I go to a local performance shop, pay $30 for a regular air filter or should I pay $60 for an Injen air filter?

I understand some parts work best if you stick with their brand but I am not sure about the air filter..Any assistance is appreciated.

BTW, I searched the forum and couldn't find this question/answer.

Thanks,
Randy

If you have an injen intake, the stock air filter is a drop in panel filter, so I don't see how you really have a choice but to use the injen one.

No problem, sucks that that filter is $60 though! Definitely makes me appreciate the reusable ones.

see if the perrin spongy air filter will fit the injen intake. They make the most power and at the same time, filters real good

Will do, I think my buddy has a perrin air filter. I will see if that fits mine. If so, I will buy that. Not liking buying the more expensive filters but its for the car so.. :-)

Take 30 seconds, grab a tape measure, and measure the filter on your car and compare the diameter with the information supplied for the other filter.
