Car is short of power , but why??

have a 04 evo 8 with full bolt ons fpred 80mm m2 cams springs retainers speed density ect ect everything but pistons a rods . the car is tuned n ready to roll for a good 450whp build but for some reason on the dyno at 24psi shes only putting down 390whp when just the other day my boy put down 440whp with the same build.
Car has been compression tested boost leak and exhaust leak tested but still short 50whp can anyone help me out ive spent alot of money and hate to she eva go.

who tuned it and how long ago? id say if everything is fine it would need a better tune

the same guy that tuned my boys car .... cuz the car will start to make the power then just stop at 390whp n fall off it wont go past that like something is squeezing the cars neck

my boy has kelford 272 and a buschur ported ex mani....i have cosworth m2's and stock ex mani but my m2's came out of my other friends 600whp evo so i kno that cant b it.
i know the stock mani's wouldnt cause the car to lose 50whp ya kno....spoke to my tuner gunna do a leak down test tomar morning for the top of the head now smh

Both thoes things are part of the reason in my opinion but its good that your testing things out cus ya never know. If anything bump the boost and you will be there in no time

You'd be surprised to find out the differences in something as simple as porting. Check out these "VS" tests that was done by Buschur.

To many variables to consider. Two evos with the exact same setup and tune will more than likely differ in power. Mileage, small differences in how parts were made etc etc can cause more or less power.

Im looking into getting a ported mani then and an o2 dump so the red can breath fully as well its been since march with this power issue so if anyone has these parts pm me.......
Current parts

80mm fp red stock ex mani
Invida o2
Cosworth m2
Beehive springs retainers and headstuds
1150cc
Walbro 255
Full turbo bak 3inch no cat
3inch intercooler with injen piping top and lower
Hks ignition box
Tial bov
50k on the motor with the 60k kit done during the winter build

what fuel 24psi seems low if its 93oct

didnt want to turn the boost up because on 23psi my boy made 440 and i made 390 on 24psi

that also depends on what they're making that 410 on. I guarentee it's no mustang dyno. Not with bolt ons/cams/pump. Maybe on virtual dyno or a high reading dynojet. Now with your red, you should be in atleast the low - mid 400's but like everyone else has said, the variables are gonna make up your end result.

you mentioned the pistons and rods are different between the two cars...is the compression ratio the same?
