AMSOIL airfilter

Hey, so I'm sure that this has been covered a million times, or so, but I suck at searching, so here it is: I'm ordering all of my drive train fluids from AMSOIL, oil, tranny, diff fluid, everything, but the more I order the bigger the discount I get so, I also wanted to order one of their air filters I've heard so much about, first off do I need to get a kit to install the filter as well, or will it bolt right up to the stock intake pipe? Also, what is the exact model filter I need?

You'll need to get a Vibrant 4.5" MAF adapter which goes for around $20.

the part # should be somewhere in this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...t-results.html

I bought one for my car and my truck. They are awesome filters. I love having oiless, especially with the MAF sensor.

Is there a small gap between the Vibrant adapter and the MAF? Is there potential for unfiltered air to get in that gap?

There is actually a rubber seal in there that cannot be seen from the outside. It's all good.
