act vibration???

I have a vibration from around 3k and starts to fade away around 4200. If i press the clutch in the vibration is alomost gone and it even does it parked not rolling or anything. I called shep's shop on monday and talked to them to see if maybe it was a input shaft bearing or something but he said he would guess the clutch. The clutch has been adjusted and i even checked the pp bolts already.. thanks for any input.

it could be clutch chatter...could be somethin as simple as exhaust rattle, check your exhaust piping for dents/dings burn marks. i get somethin similar, but its intermitten.

Yeap 600 miles of break in. Pulling the trans to check the disc and input shaft bearing. We are 100% sure it is coming from the drivetrain. We have been talking with shep trans over the last week and they really seem to think it is the disc... I will update as soon as we get it in our shop on the rack and trans out.

Resolved!!!!!!!!!! A mid fl shop that builds evos did the timing belt and some other things to the car before i got it. We had a slow day at the shop so i pulled the evo on my rack and pulled the timing down on it to check everything and the oil pump was out of phase. All the marks were dead on but it was out of phase. It threw us for a loop due to all the issues (trans noise, clutch vibration, car moving forward on the 2 step with the clutch in) I had really thought it was a spring in the disc coming loose. Fixed the timing and all the problems are fixed and i mean all of them. No more lock out or moving forward on the 2 step and all the trans noises are gone.. Thanks guys for all the input and help....
