weird motor ticking help

hey guys im new to evo's just picked one up last week and i havent really had the chance to even drive it except for driving it home. the following day i heard a ticking noise sounds like lifters but im really not sure, ill try and get a video up soon. maybe its a common thing? its not injector noise.

mods are intake/fullexhaust/272 cam.

ALSO, i have a rough shut off, im not really sure if this is normal? my guess would be because of the cam but im not really sure so if anyone can give me any info that would be great, thanks.

2005 evo Viii GSR

this vid isnt from my car but its the same noise...anyone know what this is?

A ticking noise isnt enough for anyone to go by, could be lifters, could be a rod, could be a belt tensioner---be more specific ---what happened before you drove the car.

if its coming from the valve cover its probably just a lifter tick . whoever did the cams probably didnt bleed the lifters.

I highly suggest taking your oil filter off then pour some on a clean surface. If there are shards of metal in it. It has a spun bearing. I thought it was my liters when my stock motor had a tick. Little did I know....

That's pretty loud for lifters other than right after bleeding them
