Whats wrong here?

The story -

A friends car was having issues lately so I decide we go have a look at whats going on.

Did a boost leak test and the car was leaking everywhere. While we were in the process of fixing the leaks, the owner said that he kept thinking its a tune and his tuner kept playing with the tune.

Well, i fixed the leaks, throttle body seals and we crank the car... starts great. But misfires. I said lets look at the plugs.

And this is what i got... i wanna know what ya'll think went wrong here. The ceramic is totally gone and no where to be seen.

i have a clear idea, but wanna hear what my evom has to say.

Thanks!

well the ceramic part had to go somewhere.. more then likely its prolly still in the combustion chamber, i do know they make a tool that has a mini camera like piece to it where you can put it down in the combustion chamber and look around, its prolly misfiring due to the fact that its predetonating due to that broke off piece prolly bouncing around in the chamber. So id find it before it gets hung up on a valve then your really in for some trouble. Good luck, new plugs to start

Thats little tip prob already melted away .. sure there would be a little scar some where but should be fine.. Tell him to stop turning up the boost past what he is set for , might even be spiking .. Put 4 new plugs in and re-check the tune for AFR's
