Clutch type lsd knock?

hey ive just done a swap in a Evo IV from ayc rear diff to Clutch type lsd.its hase been in the shop and soposed to have been rebuilt with new ring and pinion and the clutches reset. have installed the diff and have been driving it and after about 50k's of driving, we turn right going between 0-25km/h there is a very loud knocking noise coming from the left side rear wheel area.and when turning it feals like the diff is rather tight as it spins the outside wheel turning eather way. my first though was cv joints but they would click going in a straight line? so my next though was the lsd clutch plates setup incorrectly. could anyone shead some light! cheers
also whats the actual oil specs? ive used motul lsd oil instead of the mitsi item.
and ive put about .6 of a litre in there. found some specs say .55 litre and some say 1 litre. maybe not enough oil?

Enough oil is when it comes back out of the fill hole. I'd try some friction modifier or Diaqueen.

i've got a cusco and it knocks/bangs, pretty violent. happens at low speeds turning in either direction for me though. strange that it's only happening in one direction. i think no matter what kind of oil if it's banging you should try some friction modifier. also make sure you break it in and see how it sounds after that
