I need more power.

I have some questions for you guys. I am Looking for a little bit more power... nothing too crazy.
My mods so far.
Evo 9 turbo.
Apexi Cone filter
ETS hard pipes
Tubro Xs front mount
Full 3inch exhaust no cat
Spoolin Up COP kit
ARP head studs.
FIC 880 cc injectors
Walbro 255
HKS 272 cams
Halman Pro boost controller.
I also have a Meth kit that is not installed yet.

I made 300 whp and about 289 w tq on CBRDs mustang dyno @ 24 lbs
My car is about to roll over to 100k miles in a day or two.

What are some suggestions for more power (not looking on spending a tone of money.)
I figure different cams. I was thinking HKS 280 with springs and retainers... or would It be better to go with some more aggressive 272cams? (Kelford or GSC s2)

Hmm I made 377/320 whp/tq with less mods than that on one of my MR's. The only thing I have that you don't is Mivec.

Less mods =
3" TBE
ETS FMIC w/ piping
Walbro
EBC
Speed Density
Stock cams and turbo, no headstuds.

It was on a mustang dyno. From what I was told I make about 340-360 on a dyno jet

avoid the meth for sure but besides changing the turbo out mainly by sending it to fp for a upgrade I would do as you sugguested those cams are garbage you have get fp 4rs or gsc s2 or the kelford 272 for sure and that will give you a nice increase. Dont forget to upgrade your spring and retainers as well

Yeah GSC s2 or Kelfords. With a spring upgrade.

Also you can send out the 9 turbo to either CBRD( since you go to them) and get a BBK Full or even any FP( but I don't know what your budget is.

Good luck

Yeah i was looking into the BBK full. I also heard that if I do a divorced waste gate housing it may fix my boost taper problem. I run 24lbs but tapers to about 17 before redline. If I can manage to hold 24 to redline I'm sure I could make a bit more power.

I like these suggestions. A BBK Full, a BBK-B, or an FP HTA Green would all be good choices...and the cams.

I would suggest go over you car and check for boost leaks .. 100k miles TB seals are prob leaking .. after everything is 100% put a different W/G on it and go e-85 ..

Sell the COP ignition buy bigger cams, and/or swap to e85
At your power level COP not necessary.

^^^^^^
This

Ill put money on your TB shaft seals leaking and if you boost is tapering down to 17psi you NEED an upgraded WG actuator from FP.

My stock 80K Evo8 turbo holds 24psi to redline with the FP wastegate actuator.
