Kenne Bell BAP

Well, I'm about to install the BAP for my build, decided to go a different route than most for a few different reasons. Anyways, I'm a bit concerned about tuning up the voltage on this thing after looking at the wiring diagram for the car. It seems that the 17+ volts will travel back to places I don't really want it to- cluster, relays, etc. Although, I'm not entirely sure it will make it back to the cluster due to the resistors in the relays...

Has anyone had any experience with these things? Do you think something will get fried if I hook this thing up and turn up the voltage? If so, what solution could I use to remedy the problem?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Matt

The BAP uses the stock wiring to turn it on but it is only feeding the power to the pump. You only hook the outlet of the BAP to the two wires going directly to the pump.

We are using a Denso pump feeding a surge tank with 2 bosch 044 pumps.....We installed a BAP as well. It works great with the hobb switch it comes with or if you are on a stand alone ECU....just trigger it with a 12v signal around 10 psi.

Got the BAP installed and it works perfectly- one intank pump for a built 2.0 w/ FP black on E85. No twin fuel pump setup and $150 less than twin setup. Winning.
