Has anyone tried the o2 housing from road race? (rre) I wanted to stay away from the megan one and I am planning on replacing the o2 sensor so i figured id do the housing while I am in there... Any thoughts?

I am not familiar with the RRE offering. Can you post up a link?

Are you referring to the MrTurbo O2 housing offered in the RRE online catalog? I thought that maybe there was a new proprietary, in-house O2 design from RRE. Judging by the photos on the RRE site, the MrTurbo piece looks quite similar to my EBay SSAC housing.

The MR turbo outlet listed on their site is Megan Racing, thats what the MR stands for. There is nothing wrong with the Megan o2 housing so I'm not sure why you would want to avoid it

I just upgraded to the Invidia. The inner diameter is 2.9 inches compared with 2.6 for the Megan. Plus, the megan is not anywhere close to the quality.

Uh, no there is nothing wrong with it AFAIK. Just stupid me who couldn't figure out that MR stands for Megan Racing, and not, "Mr. Turbo." Mister Turbo, Duh, duh, duh Sparky?? LOL

well lets see theres been numerous discussions on here reguarding the good ol megan 02 housing vs competitors discussions, now hp/tq wise your talkin within 10 of competitors with the megan, but hp/tq cant be the only decision other then cheap as to why you would buy it, you gotta think they have problems of boost creep issues on certain units, so you gotta spend money on a ported/coated option, if you want the full benefit. Me im personally running a titek v1 02 housing, ran it on my stocker, and now on my 64mm fp red, have no complaints, no cracks in the welds, holds up nice. As far as the rre unit, they make good stuff and do good work, so id say put your car in there faithful hands they wouldnt steer you wrong.
