ACD lights on after clutch replace

ACD lights on after clutch replace

What could this b, I only topped off the transfer case a little and replaced the clutch. All three snow Tarmac and gravel lights are on.

there is air in the acd lines. there is a procedure to bleed the tcase follow it or you will burn up the acd pump.

Isnt filling the tcase like filling a diff, fill wait for it to trickle and your done?

no, its a hydraulic system like your brakes. you need to bleed the ACD lines.

Transfercase fluid is different than ACD fluid. Your transfercase fill is under the car above the right axle on the case. The ACD fill is next to the drivers headlight.

Also the bleed procedure requires two people if you don't have the Mitsu tool(which most of us don't)

Hope you didnt drive too long with the pump low. They are about $2,000.
