Hey guys, I rarely ever use my cruise but this weekend I tried to. The cruise light lit up but the cruise never actually worked. I recently replaced the relays in the underhood panel to the updated ones and also rebuilt my clutch master cly. Could either of these have anything to do with this? I check my clutch pedal and the clutch switch is plugged in and fine. any thoughts?

 

I'm sure you checked the fuse right

I am familiar with the sr20 engine and I've had an issue with the cruise control cable on those engines not being secured properly so there was no tug on cable when engaging. Just had to tighten down 2 bolts

I was looking for the cable when I first bought my car since I was coming from an 03 WRX. Couldn't find anything and my buddy was like duh, it's an E-throttle.

Yes it is...Now hopefully I wont run into too many baffling changes from older cars to newer ones

Actually, if you switch out your CMC that might be your issue. When I switched mine out the pedal wasn't coming up far enough to push the top clutch pedal button all the way in.

 

also, no fuses for the cruise. That was the first thing I looked for.

 

You don't need cruise control just do some foot exercises. hehehe

 

Vacuum hose loose? That is the cause on most cars. not sure about the Evo.
